Make sure you have at least 128 MB of video memory. problems thread)Ĥ.Not enough video memory.
(I'm using ATI's newest drivers and have installed DirectX 9.0c posted on the main tech. Make sure your graphics card supports shader model 3.0 or higher. I don't have the PhysX drivers installed, but ATI doesn't support PhysX so it shouldn't matter, also PhysX isn't used in a. (I'm not using an Nvidia card, so I don't know why it's trying to initialize PhysX. If this is a newer version of PhysX than the one with which the game shipped, this may be fine, but should you encounter abnormal termination of the game, please visit the support page or contact technical support. Here are some of the issues in the game's error report.Ģ.The game has detected that you have installed a different version of PhysX. However, the next time a cutscene came about the same problem presented itself. I finally took an early game save from someone else and started playing with everything working fine. For the longest time I couldn't even make it to the character creation scene because the opening video would start then freeze. It usually requires a hard reset to get rid of. Whenever Divinity 2 goes to a cutscene, the video starts to stutter then completely freeze my system.
unuroboros (aka dragonsong): I used his 'Fixed and Missing Recipes' as reference on how to set up a recipe mod.Ok after days of tinkering and trying to get this blasted game to work, I seem to finally have pinpointed the root problem.
The usual pain in the butt issues with using mods in Divinity. I have yet to find the keyword for cloth helmets/cap/hoods, if one even exists, so they aren't supported yet. A simple text editor such as wordpad could be used for that.
You could however possible merge it into another recipe mod by pasting the file contents of my 'ItemCombos.txt' and 'ItemComboPreviews.lsx' into the another recipe mod's equivilant files. This mod will not likely work with other recipe mods such as 'Fixed and Missing Recipes' by default. Bone Dust can be made by combining most bones/skulls with a mortar and pestile. Remember you can fill empty bottles/cups by draggin them over a barrel of the liquid you want. Dye a Helmet: Just use a dye on them like normal Purple Dye: A bucket + pixie dust OR red dye + blue dye Green Dye: A bucket + a poison flask OR yellow dye + blue dye Yellow Dye: A bucket + a bottle of beer None of these recipes will destroy the bucket used. You must use a character with a crafting level of 2 or higher for these recipes. NOTE: These recipes where intended to be easy to make, not to be 100% logical. Step 4: Copy the 'meta.lsb' file from the new game save you made over the 'meta.lsb' file of your existing save. It should be /Libraries/Documents/Larian Studios/Divinity Original Sin/PlayerProfiles/*YourProfilesName* Step 2: Start a new game with ONLY this mod activated. Step 1: Make a backup save in case you mess something up TO ACTIVATE THIS MOD IN AN EXISTING SAVE: Simply delete the Pak file from /Libraries/Documents/Larian Studios/Divinity Original Sin/Mods Start the game, activate the mod and either use a new game or use the merging process I'll list below if you want to use this for an existing save.
If you got this from the steam workshop that part should already be done for you. Place the folders into your /Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Divinity - Original Sin/data folder. 1.1: Added dyeability to leather and metal helmets Can be made compatible with existing saves. Allows metal/leather helmets to be dyed, which was strangely absent in the default game.
Uses relatively easy to find crafting materials. Includes recipes for all 6 default game dyes It also makes leather and metal helmets dyeable This mod allows you to craft dyes using easy to find ingredients. Trying to upload to the Workshop is currently a trainwreck IMO.Ĭraftable dyes mod for Divinty: Original Sin Just won't be able to host it on the Steam Workshop. I packed 1.1 manually, so it should work fine. NOTICE: As far as I know version 1.0 does not work (Goofy Steam publisher based packing tool didn't pack all the file, ugh).
